    I once had the pleasure of sitting in on a presentation at WEConnect (www.weconnectinternational.org) from the Self-Employed Women's Association (SEWA), based in India, which had piloted a project that collected paper trash from the crowded streets of Bangalore, Delhi, and 12 districts in Gujarat and transformed them into beautiful recycled paper, pottery, shopping bags, presentation binders, jewelry, and other gifts. To date, there are more than 32,000 women workers who are waste-paper pickers, and the numbers rise each month. Making the most out of our trash and waste of others is not only an intellectual capital agrarian best practice; it's also simply the right thing to do for future generations
