Save the date - 7th November 2018

Location: Hilton London Paddington, 146 Praed Street, Paddington, London, W2 1EE
Cost: Free – the forum is kindly being hosted by Intel
Time: 2pm to 6pm – followed by an informal networking dinner (pay your own way)

Ahead of the WEConnect International Europe Conference which is taking place on the 8th and 9th November, and with the support of Intel, we are hosting a supplier diversity forum focussed on the topic of supplier diversity and inclusive supply chains. The event is open to any multi-national corporations (corporate members, non-corporate members, prime suppliers etc.) that are interested in understanding how they can increase the diversity of their supply base.

We’ll hear from a number of speakers including Emma Jones - Small Business Representative for the Crown who is working with the government towards meeting the target of £1 in every £3 being spent with small businesses by 2020. We’ll also hear from Intel who is on track to achieve $1B in annual spending with certified-diverse owned suppliers by 2020 - they will share an insight into their global supplier diversity programme including tier 1/prime supplier engagement. There will also be facilitated discussions focussed on sharing best practices for supplier diversity and the practical actions and steps corporations can take to increase opportunities for diverse suppliers in the corporate supply chain. A more detailed agenda will be made available in the coming weeks.

Registration

Although this event is free, places need to be booked online. If you already know that you’d like to attend, please register online here: https://european_supplier_diversity_forum.eventbrite.com

This will be an excellent opportunity to meet, connect and share experiences with others corporations in the UK and Europe who are developing successful supplier diversity programmes in this region. The event will also lead nicely into the WEConnect International Europe Conference that is taking place over the following two days in the same location. Participants in this forum will be encouraged to join the conference too - ticket bookings for the conference will open towards the end of August and I will share more information about that once the booking link is live.
