Na América Latina, WEConnect International opera no Brasil, Chile, Colômbia, Costa Rica, Jamaica, México e Peru. No fim de 2018, iniciará operações na Argentina e, em 2019, graças a uma parceria com o Programa de Aceleração WEAMERICAS, operado pela Escola de Negócios Thunderbird for Good, iniciará atividades e certificará empresas em Belize, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicarágua, Panamá. A WEConnect International atualmente conta com uma rede de mais de 150 empresárias certificadas na região e mais de 2.050 empresárias registradas como empresa de mulher, em sua base de dados virtual.

Within the framework of the panel “Stimulating the Growth of Women’s Businesses in Latin America with the Support of the Private Sector” WEConnect International presented the preliminary results of the study supported by Canada’s International Development Research Centre (IDRC) on November 24th, 2016 as part of the WEConnect International Annual Forum. Additional sponsors of the forum included Intel and ExxonMobil, and the event featured a meet the member event and a matchmaking event.
On December 3, 2015 corporate member Pfizer welcomed a select group of certified women-owned businesses to their São Paulo headquarters to discuss the inclusion of women-owned businesses in the Pfizer supply chain in Brazil. The meeting opened with a brief presentation of the Pfizer supply chain operation as well as an introduction to the socially responsible actions the company carries out in Brazil. The women business owners then each got to pitch their business to the Pfizer audience composed of representatives not only from procurement but also from other departments that make smaller purchases. A dynamic conversation followed where certified business owners and Pfizer staff discussed how to facilitate business between corporations and small enterprises run by women in Brazil. The meeting wrapped up with a networking coffee break to stimulate new business connections.
WEConnect International in Brazil held its Annual Forum on the 2nd of October in São Paulo. Growth-oriented Brazilian business owners, corporate procurement professionals, and other key actors in Brazil's entrepreneurial ecosystem joined to discuss the development of Brazilian women-owned businesses and how their inclusion in corporate supply chains is a powerful tool to supporting not only the growth of women-owned businesses but also adding value to the corporate supply chain and to society as a whole.
